The practice of Yoga at Inspire Yoga Pilates and Fitness is physical, mental, and spiritual. Harnessing the principles of breath, alignment, and movement, it’s as simple as bending forward while breathing and as profound as experiencing one’s true self. Heated Classes

Hot Yoga A

A 90-minute, beginners’ level sequence of 50 poses programmed for practice in a heated room. You’ll sweat—quite possibly more than you ever have in your life—all the way through to the benefits of stretching, toning, detoxification, a cardiovascular workout, and an incomparable sense of calm.

Hot Express

A 45 or 60-minute heated class that combines HOT A, B and C into express sequences formulated to supercharge your busy day. Tone, detoxify, and relieve tension without missing a beat in your daily schedule! Squeeze it in the morning before work or on your lunch break to perk up your day.

Warm Core & Sculpt

This high-intensity, vinyasa-style flow class incorporates small hand weights and cardio to burn fat and build lean muscle mass. This power-up session builds strength, stamina, and flexibility. Free weights serve as your own personal adjuster as you move through Sun Salutations in a vinyasa-style class, enabling extra length and depth in each pose. Designed for intermediate levels in a room heated to 100-105 degrees.

Warm Hatha

60- or 90-minute classes in a heated setting that acquaints practitioners with basic poses. “Hatha” is used interchangeably with “yoga” and describes the physical aspect of the practice—a slow pace and simple breathing exercises make it great for becoming comfortable on the mat.

Warm Yin-Yang Yoga

Combines yin yoga with a flow practice. The Yin portion of this class is a gentle, quiet, and meditative practice that teaches us to relax and accept ourselves just as we are. All poses are done on the floor so that the muscles can relax and allow the deep connective tissues surrounding the hips, thighs, and lower back to be gently stretched. Through mindful stretching, Yin Yoga maintains the health of the connective tissue and encourages free flow of qi (energy) in the body. Poses are held for longer periods of time (generally 3-5 minutes) and awareness is brought to sensations in the body.

The Yang portion of this class allows us to integrate this openness and awareness into a sense of steadiness and alignment with a short, gentle vinyasa flow in our practice. This class is suitable for all levels

Non-Heated Classes

Vinyasa Flow

Takes practitioners through a dynamic 60 or 90 minutes of movement synchronised with breath. Rhythmic transitions in and out of creatively conceived pose combinations add a cardiovascular workout to the practice, challenging you to push your edge. Offering beginner, intermediate, and advanced options for each pose, vinyasa flow reduces stress and enhances flexibility and endurance.

Yin

A calming and relaxing 60- or 90-minute class targeting the body’s deep connective tissues. If other styles of yoga are for the muscles, Yin is yoga for the joints—lingering in each pose and slowly yielding to their full effects develops flexibility and freedom of movement with the aid of props and gravity.

Suspension Yoga

Turns everything you know about yoga upside down. Counteracting gravity with the aid of a fabric swing, you'll move freely, stretching and strengthening with less effort. Inversion Therapy—the gentle, passive stretching and traction of the spine—alleviates muscular tension and pain, boosts energy levels, blood circulation, and joint mobility and flexibility. Anything is possible—from vertical to horizontal to inversion and everything in between!

Ashtanga Primary Series

60 to 90-minute non-heated classes that heighten the health, align the body, and burn through accumulated toxins. The Primary Series "asks tightness to bend and softness to be strong", named after the eight limbs of yoga mentioned in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Dedicated yogis can expect challenging personal limits with a mentally, physically, and spiritually vigorous practice.

Aroma Yin

Enhance your yoga journey with flickering candle lights & the powerful effective properties of aromatic essential oils. Deepen your sensory experience by taking a gentle approach to your body. Come with an open mind and observe how your body becomes still as your mind relaxes. Poses will be held longer in this practice to allow a deep stretch on the connective tissues of your body allowing you to connect with your breath and take you through a quest within yourself. Props will be used for supporting the body so that you can hold poses for longer, allowing you to open your body through passive stretching. Its a relaxing style of practice that leaves you feeling open and refreshed.

Hatha

60- or 90-minute classes that acquaints practitioners with basic poses. “Hatha” is used interchangeably with “yoga” and describes the physical aspect of the practice—a slow pace and simple breathing exercises make it great for becoming comfortable on the mat.
